'Cause you just can't get too many pictures of your kids. (Especially when they're beautiful girls!)
Deidra and I took an evening last week to explore Sportsman's Park (she hadn't been there before) and take her senior pictures. As much of a B&W fan as I am, I almost hated taking color from any of the images because of Deidra's red hair.
After Alexis' shoot the other day, I was commissioned to design her graduation announcement. Here's the end result:
It seems like yesterday when this lovely young lady turned 12 and entered my Beehive class in church. Now she's a senior! Alexis showed me around Menan, which is an area I haven't explored before.
I took pictures of this sweet thing a while ago, but the family just got back to me about which ones they want edited. Here are a few of my favorites:
I just can't get enough of this sweet little thing! My mom gave me this cute little sweater and bonnet; she says she thinks her mom made them. I used the cradle my mother-in-law played with as a girl and that my dad and I fixed up during the first part of the shoot. The wooden blocks used later in the shoot were given to me by my grandpa; his kids played with them when they were little.
The couple had their wedding and reception in Washington, but an open house in Rexburg. I was glad that I could attend not only as family, but also as a photographer.
We always have a mini-shoot close to Christmas so I can make cards to send to family and friends. I love the results of this year's shoot so much that I'm going to get a 16x20 for the living room. The hubby and I decided to use the B&W for the Christmas card (because it's dramatic), but the color version for the living room (because we like being able to see the girls' skin and hair color).
The Olavesons had me take family pictures last year, so it's fun to see how their little ones have grown and changed in that time.
